Pasta Salad?

What this bowl needs is a nice pasta salad, don't you think?

I'm going on a picnic and what I need to bring is pasta salad... So, do you have a Best, Fabulous, Wonderful, Remarkable or even simply Really Good pasta salad that you care to share? I have thunk and thunk and have come to the conclusion that pastaly speaking, I am stumped.

I'd much appreciate it.

I chop up lots of veggies, whisk some olive oil with lemon and fresh garlic and toss. Yummy!

My pasta salad recipe is boring! To the pasta I do add cubed cheese (I use pepperjack to give it a little bite), small cubes of pepperoni, green & red peppers, small broccoli florets, black or green olives. I either coat it all with red wine vinegar, olive oil, and a little minced garlic or I add an interesting bottled dressing. I like some of the four cheese italian, caesar italian, etc.

Now I'm hungry! Good luck and do share any yummy recipes you find :)

We make 2 types of pasta salad. First

Tuna Noodle Salad
canned tuna (water pack)
pasta
mayo
relish
lemon pepper seasoning.
quick and incredibly easy

Even easier -
pasta
italian dressing
feta cheese
grape tommy-toes
Roasted red peppers

Have fun.

Yum -- these all look sooo good... and since I never NEVER follow a recipe, I won't let today be any different... I am going to take bits and piece from each of these recipes and come up with.... Ok, it'll have bacon (instead of T's pepperoni), lots of veggies, feta cheese, parmasan cheese, tommy-toes and vidalia onions... I'm iffy on the sauce, but I've had a request for ranch... Maybe... the oil/lemon juice or Italian have sparked my interest. Hmmm, what to choose, what to choose.

Thank you and more recipes are very very welcome -- there might be something in there I need.

Aww, just look at that sweet baby right below this pasta post. He's adorable! I'm sure you muddled through just fine with him, LOL.

I have a few pasta salad recipes. One of my favorites quick & easy & it's supposed to be Cher's favorite pasta (I got this out of the paper somewhere years ago...go figure, Cher eats tuna??).

Bowtie or penne pasta (1 box)
2 cans white albacore tuna (the only kind I buy)
chopped fresh tomatoes (home grown if you have them)
1 or 2 small cans sliced olives
Mayo, salt & pepper

Just mix it all up (add enough mayo to coat, but not too much) lots of salt & pepper & it's a really good summer meal!
