Snowed In!!!!

The snow came and came and came some more. It fell on fences and trees and roofs. It covered sidewalks, driveways and roads... And when I thought there was not another flake left to fall, there fell more.

The snow started shortly after 8 a.m. Friday. I stood at the kitchen window and watched it begin... by 10 the yard was covered, by noon the roads were treacherous. It fell and it fell and it fell.

There is a street between my house and that gray one. But you'd never know it.

Hmmmmmm, guess there's nothing for a snowbound girl to do except... play.

Stay busy and keep outta trouble.

Every now and then this is just what we need -- a Snow Day.

Are you Snow Bound? What did you do?

Hi Jenny!

No! thank goodness .... I am NOT snowbound !!! (for a change!) ... we had TONS of rain and wind from that storm , and a little sleet, but no accumulating snow !!! (in fact, what we had all washed away!! YEAH!!)

Anyhow, love that cute little doo dad you made while snowbound!

... AND, WOW ! you'll be in my neck of the woods over Easter? Schuylkill Haven ! (which is probably about an hour's drive from Jim Thorpe.... I think .... You'd think I'd be sure about that after all of the away wrestling matches , football games and soccer games, not to mention some dirt bike races that I think were over that way). Anyhow, I'm not quite sure what I'll be doing that weekend (as usual, another holiday weekend location /destination decided on and then probably changed again at the last minute!) But, maybe we'll both get a minute to escape and meet up! Keep in touch!

No snow for the California girl, no sirree. We have finally gotten ahold of spring and we are not letting go.
Looks like you knew how to make ribbon flowers all along. Beautiful.

That little pin is packed with sunshine, Jenny! :) No snow here on Whidbey. Not much this winter at all, just lots of cold & gray. Phooey! But, looks like some sun today to make my mini daffs glow.

We've been snow bound most of the winter and more ice and snow are forecast for this weekend :( Someone really must have ticked off Mother Nature this season!!

Oh my goodness!! We haven't had snow here in over ten years. I can't even imagine having that much snow outside my door. I'd be snuggled under blankets in front of the fire. Looks like you made the best of it.

Jenn, are you still snowbound? No way could I deal with all that snow.

Hope you come out soon.
